Biblical counsel, Practical help, Eternal hope.

Counseling for women online, and in person in Newark, Delaware.

There’s hope.

As a follower of Jesus, I don’t think the categories “biblical” and “practical” are mutually exclusive. But I do know, from thousands of counseling conversations, and from my own story that includes abuse, blindness, and brokenness, that sometimes it’s very hard to see how that is true. As a biblical counselor I have worked with women in all ages and stages of life to help them see how the commands, promises, and principles of Scripture intersect with the hard places in their own hearts and lives.

I work with women of all ages seeking healthier relationships, healing from abuse and betrayal, and guidance to move forward spiritually and emotionally, even in the midst of chronic or complex suffering.

Let’s talk.

I work with women from all over the globe who are seeking God’s help through the counseling process to deal with a broad range of issues including: abuse, anxiety, depression, difficult relationships, divorce, grief, parenting, singleness, sexual brokenness, and trauma. If you are ready to schedule, you can do so here.

  • "Pain disrupts normal. It’s supposed to disrupt normal. It’s supposed to make you feel a need for help…When you let life’s troubles get to you, it gets you to the only One who can help.”

    David Powlison

  • "Absolute statements of hopelessness that we make in the dark are notoriously unreliable. Our dark certainties are not sureties.”

    John Piper

  • "When we are lowest, we can still say, 'Our Father,' and when it is very dark, and we are very weak, our childlike appeal can go up, 'Father, help me! Father, rescue me!'"

    Charles H. Spurgeon

  • "Why He allows these things now, I do not know. Why we must wait for those promises to be fulfilled, I do not know. But I do know who He is, because of how He lived and died, and if He can conquer death and hell, then I will struggle to have faith that he will finish that job someday."

    Diane Langberg

  • "Grace comes to decimate our delusions of self-sufficiency. Grace works to destroy our dangerous hope for autonomy. Grace helps to make us reach out for what we really need and submit to the wisdom of the Giver. Yes, it’s true, grace rescues us from us."

    Paul David Tripp
