As a follower of Jesus, I don’t think the categories “biblical” and “practical” are mutually exclusive. But I do know, from thousands of counseling conversations, and from my own story that includes abuse, blindness, and brokenness, that sometimes it’s very hard to see how that is true. As a biblical counselor I have worked with women in all ages and stages of life to help them see how the commands, promises, and principles of Scripture intersect with the hard places in their own hearts and lives.

I studied theology and biblical counseling at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, KY, graduating with a Master of Arts in Biblical Counseling and am a Counseling Field Experience Supervisor for CCEF. I am an incredibly blessed wife and a thankful mom to four daughters and a son.
